The White Reindeer by Maya Tångeberg-Grischin (Rovaniemen Kaupunginteatteri 1989) was considered as the first professional Same-theatre in Finland and delt with mythology and a forbidden type of hunt on reindeers. The play toured in Finland and Russia.
